Don Brooks

Donald brings 20 years and a broad perspective of financial service experience to his clients. His experience has included work in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, finance and treasury.

Don is a founding partner of StoneRidge Capital Group. Prior to starting StoneRidge Capital, he was Senior Vice President responsible for Strategic Planning and Finance for Zurich Scudder Investments, a top 5 global asset manager. While at Scudder, he was a senior deal team member of the $2.5 billion sale of the firm to Deutsche Bank and was significantly involved in the sale of Scudder's Canadian unit. Prior to joining Scudder, Don was Vice President at Daiwa Securities America (DSA), a $95 billion subsidiary of the Japanese financial services firm. At DSA he directed the firm’s Finance Group. Don was a Vice President in PaineWebber's Treasury group, where he coordinated several multi-million dollar long term debt issuances. Don also worked at JP Morgan Bank on the Derivatives Trading Desk and started his career at Peat Marwick & Mitchell (currently KPMG).

Don has his MBA from New York University and a BS from Fordham University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
